N’Kengé Robertson is an educator, co-chair for the steering committee and curriculum lead for #NationalBlackLivesMatterAtSchool. She is a voice for new innovative educators in the city of Detroit, MI to change the educational paradigms of youth in urban cities.
She currently is a high school English teacher, 22’ NCTE Early Educator of Color Leadership awardee, and a proud native of Detroit, MI. Her passions include addressing the racial violence in ELA spaces, and exploring Black mental health + vulnerability as a Black woman.
