N’Tanya Lee

NTanya Lee is a longtime community organizer who began to claim socialist politics in the Reagan years, and has helped shape the political development and practice of hundreds of organizers & grassroots leaders across the country. As the elected National Secretary of LeftRoots, and a member of the SOS National Leadership Team, she has been passionate about rebuilding the US left. She is a mid-life Black marxist feminist who loves a good 1on1, studies science & talks to the trees, and sings freedom songs on morning resilience walks. These days she spends much of her time fighting for the care and dignity of multiple beloveds who have disabling mental & physical health conditions, ever-deepening her commitment to ending the misery of racial capitalism.

NTanya was a speaker at the 2023 Socialism Conference.
