Rethinking Schools is an organization that creates far-left curricula and materials for teachers to use in schools.

They call themselves a “non-profit magazine & book publisher dedicated to sustaining & strengthening public education through social justice teaching and education activism.”

In September 2023, Rethinking Schools sponsored a session with Jesse Hagopian and Wayne Au at the Socialism 2023 Conference in which Jesse Hagopian described using anti-racist education to create a socialist world.

In 2008, Rethinking Schools and Teaching For Change joined together to form the Zinn Education Project.
